I always hear people talk about heat issues with optics mounted in the forward position on the gas tube. Is this true or myth? I thought I saw somewhere that the operating temp for an EOTech was something like -30 and up to 140 or something? Have any of you actually had any heat issues with your EOTech mounted forward on your AK? I can understand heat maybe shortening battery life though. Anyways……….discuss TX-Zen

Also on order is an Aimpoint PRO.The PRO has a Scope Mount and spacer included with it. My question – Is this a plug and play setup with the LMT and the Aimpoint PRO, or will I need to tinker? I am thinking I would like the LMT iron sights to cowittness with the Aimpoint. Will this already be the case, or will it involve more customization?
